Delete your account

You can delete your Sharaketna account and personal data at any time, in the app or on the web.

In the app or on the web

  1. Sign in

    Open the app, or go to app.sharaketna.com/#/delete-account, and sign in with the same account you use in the app.

  2. Open Profile, then Privacy

    Tap Profile, scroll to Privacy, and tap Delete my account.

  3. Confirm

    Read the summary, tick "I understand this cannot be undone", and confirm.

If you are the only Manager of an account, make another member a Manager first. The app will tell you which accounts need this.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in, name, and email.
  • Your consent records, AI records, and feedback files.
  • Any account where you are the only signed-in member, including its transactions.

What stays

  • Shared ledgers that other signed-in members still use. Your name on those transactions becomes "Former member".
  • Notes and photos already saved in a shared ledger, because your partners may need those records.
  • A one-way hash of your user id, the time, and the policy version, as proof of deletion. It does not include your email.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first.

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on your account. We aim to answer within 30 days. Before deleting, you can download a copy of your data from Profile → Privacy → Download my data.
